Summary
Iris is one of Kid's romantic visual novels with a school setting. This story centers around junior high-school students in their final year and takes place in a town called Hisame-cho during winter time. This visual novel focuses on the story of one's first love. You are Haruki Setohara, a third year junior high-school student, and by selecting different choices in the story, you focus your affections toward the girl of your choice. Leading female characters you get in contact with are Sakura, your classmate, Shinonome, Sakura's close friend, Yui, a junior high school graduate who lives next door, Miu, a first year junior high-school student, Manami, your class president, and Natsumi, your cousin and also your classroom teacher. The story branches based on player's choices which are presented at key points in the story. It features many options regarding the style menu for visual design, and sound menu where you can setup the music and even turn on/off voice-acting for an individual female characters. As you play the game, many extras are unlocked which can be accessed from the main menu. Extras include CG artwork, background music, opening cinematic, and a list of the cleared chapters.
