Storyline
Submerged is a peaceful, combat-free exploration adventure set in a dystopian future where rising seas have drowned the world, leaving only the tallest buildings of a once-great city jutting from the endless ocean. The story follows a young girl named Miku and her seriously injured younger brother, Taku, who drift into these flooded ruins after fleeing a troubled home. Alone and desperate to save Taku, Miku takes shelter atop a towering clock tower and sets out across the sunken cityscape in a small motorized boat. Her quest is a simple but urgent one: to find the supplies she needs to treat her brother's wounds. Guided only by her wits, she rows between the half-submerged towers, clambering up crumbling facades to reach relief crates left behind during the crisis. As she pieces together fragments of what became of this place, Miku pushes deeper into the mysterious, waterlogged world in the hope of keeping her brother alive.
