Storyline
An unnamed Pioneer employed by the megacorporation FICSIT Inc. is dropped from orbit onto the surface of an alien planet designated MASSAGE-2(AB)b. The drop pod malfunctions, and the Pioneer barely survives the landing, awakening with no memories. Guided by FICSIT's artificial intelligence, ADA, the Pioneer learns she is one of few to have landed successfully in the region. ADA instructs her to begin constructing infrastructure for ""Project Assembly,"" described only as part of a larger initiative called the Save the Day Program, intended to rescue Earth from an unspecified catastrophe.
As the Pioneer builds deeper into the planet's wilderness, she discovers mysterious alien artifacts that trigger strange mental contact with an unknown intelligence. Something on this world is trying to communicate, and the true nature of both the planet and FICSIT's mission may be more complex than a simple resource extraction operation.
