Storyline
Axiom Verge follows Trace, a scientist who is caught in a catastrophic lab explosion and wakes to find himself in a strange, ancient, high-tech world called Sudra. Guided by the voice of towering mechanical beings, he learns that this alien realm was devastated long ago by a pathogen unleashed by a mysterious figure. As Trace explores Sudra's labyrinth of ruined structures and hostile creatures, he gathers exotic weapons and abilities while piecing together what happened to its lost civilization. Drawn deeper into the world's secrets, he begins to question how he came to be there and what his true connection to its downfall might be.
