Five years after a devastating zombie outbreak, former motocross champion Chuck Greene arrives in the glittering casino town of Fortune City, Nevada, to compete in Terror Is Reality, a controversial game show in which contestants slaughter zombies for cash and fame. Chuck desperately needs the winnings to buy Zombrex, a daily medication that holds off the zombification of his young daughter Katey, who was bitten during a past outbreak. But disaster strikes when the show's zombies are deliberately released, plunging Fortune City into a full-blown epidemic. Chuck rescues Katey and reaches a sealed emergency shelter, promising to keep her supplied with Zombrex until the military arrives. When a news report suddenly frames him as the cause of the outbreak, Chuck must brave the zombie-infested city to save his daughter and clear his name.
