Lord Monarch was first released as a PC game in 1991 and became a hit not only in Japan but all over the world with its real-time simulation gameplay, an innovative game system ahead of its time. While the goal of this game is simply leading your nation and expand your territory as far as possible, players can at the same time enjoy the intricate tactic gameplay and an immersive story that unfolds along with the introduction of different characters. There are 100 stages in total and together with different game modes and systems, it is hard to get tired of the endless fun offered by this title!

Storyline
You are prince Alfred, the son of the great king of Monarch. Since you have been a rather fresh and lazy boy, the king decides to strengthen you by sending you to battle. You are now sixteen, and you must prove you are worthy of being the prince of Monarch!
