Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley

Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley is a musical adventure game in which Snufkin needs to restore the harmony of Moominvalley, after a series of grotesque parks has appeared and ruined the valley's natural balance. The game is an ambient and wholesome experience for both kids and adults, and combines open world-mechanics with puzzles, stealth and melodic elements.

Based on Tove Jansson's beloved Moomins, Snufkin: Melody of Moominvalley casts the player as the free-spirited wanderer Snufkin, returning to the tranquil Moominvalley he calls home. He finds the once-idyllic valley spoiled and dilapidated, its natural beauty disrupted, and discovers that his dear friend Moomintroll has gone missing, taken by the game's antagonist, the officious Park Keeper. Setting out to put things right, Snufkin journeys through the valley to restore it and to rescue his kidnapped companion. True to the gentle spirit of the Moomins, his adventure unfolds without violence; instead, Snufkin relies on his music, using melodies to interact with the world and its inhabitants as he explores. Along the way he encounters the valley's whimsical characters and gradually undoes the changes imposed upon their home. It is a quiet, dreamlike tale of a solitary traveler working to reclaim a peaceful place and reunite with the friend he cannot leave behind.
