Storyline

On the isolated island of Fortuna, a religious order venerates the legendary dark knight Sparda as a god. Nero, a young demon hunter and member of the Order, watches in horror as the infamous devil hunter Dante storms in and cuts down the Order's high priest before the assembled congregation. At that very moment, a horde of demons descends on the city, endangering everyone, including Nero's beloved Kyrie. Charged with hunting down Dante and driving back the invasion, Nero sets out on a journey that will test everything he believes about his enemies and himself.
